I'm absolutely guilty of stealing this from the Free People blog (my favorite ever), but I couldn't resist! This woman's work is fantastic! This is Beth Hoeckel's collage work, and it is blowing my mind. None if it is digital, it's all found paper and archival paste, which I seriously appreciate. It's also totally reminding me of old Hipgnosis album covers from the seventies. (GO here now, and look around, and thank me later.)
Surrealism has been making my heart race ever since Mrs. Gast introduced Rene Magritte to my seventh grade Art History class. He's kind of a big deal - to me.
