Did you know I constantly have a journal with me? If I don't have a little notebook with me, I'm lost. I take notes or jot down random thoughts on everything from rearranging my tiny apartment to creative projects and the state of society. I keep track of quotes I find in books, songs, movies, and articles. Some days I write all day and sometimes I don't write for a week, but when these notebooks are full, they all end up on a bookshelf in my room waiting for any given day when I'm in the mood to pull one out and flip through it. I usually love what I find. Forgotten verses, wonderful memories, rants about things I no longer care about -or worse- still haven't figured out, and miscellaneous lists which have become useless.

I don't really know if I'm going to keep them all, but for now, they sit there on the shelf. They're like a handwritten photo album that only I am allowed to look through. Their fate is undecided, but rarely looks grim.
